About us
Chillout Hostel is a small, social hostel in Barrio Escalante, one of San José's most exciting and walkable neighborhoods. We welcome budget backpackers, digital nomads, and international travelers passing through Costa Rica's capital.
We offer two types of accommodation: shared dormitory beds starting from [$13] per night, and private rooms from [$35] per night. All guests enjoy free high-speed WiFi, access to a fully equipped shared kitchen, secure luggage storage with lockers, and a relaxed common area where you can plan your next adventure.
Our staff speak English and Spanish and are happy to help you arrange tours around Costa Rica, book airport transfers, or figure out the bus system. Check-in is from [14:00 PM] and check-out is by [24:00 AM].
